Avicam are a development company constructing large houses for the high-end market and Freeman Beesley have been retained to design the services installations for the houses since 2006.
Over that time system designs have been developed to ensure that they comply with the ever changing regulations and the need to reduce the carbon dioxide emissions. Gas fired boilers, air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps have all been installed in various projects.
Typical house sizes range from 450m² for four bedrooms to 1,500m² with six bedrooms, plus en-suites. Some of the houses also have internal swimming pools. All houses have underfloor heating throughout.
