SUMMARY: Penthouse Refurbishment & Office Conversion

A four-storey commercial building in Brompton Road was converted into a five-storey block of serviced apartments. The existing building was completely gutted from first the floor up, with all services replaced. Throughout construction, we ensured the ground floor retail units were kept trading.

The new apartments are served by a communal hot water system together with air source heat pumps that provide underfloor heating in cold weather and comfort cooling in warm weather.

The designs achieved Code for Sustainable Homes - Level 4. Sprinkler systems were required on the top floor to overcome the open plan layouts.
